Trauma Informed Care – At Renewed Hope we aim to provide services which are non-judgemental and assist the person in deal with trauma constructively rather than unintentionally retraumatise them. Food Hygiene Training (for all Drop-In kitchen volunteers). You will need a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate to comply with our food hygiene practices. We arrange this through the Chartered Institute for Environmental Health, so please let us know if you would like to do that. Here is our Food Safety Manual which outlines our practices for the kitchen in Shrewsbury Chapel.
We use a system called Dutyman for our roster and email distribution list. This can take a little bit of getting used to, but it is a really flexible way of volunteering
